All Spring bulbs are hardy throughout the UK.
Dahlia Tubers can be left outdoors under mulch in most areas of the UK, but may not perform as well.
Use our Naturalising Mixes for a wild look every time, or pick the varieties you like from their lists for a single colour effect.
Snowdrops first, then Aconite, Bluebell, and Daffodil in the sunny spots.
The early flowering bulbs are there for bees at the start of the year when most plants are sleeping.
In approximate order of flowering from early Spring:
Cyclamens are among the most shade-tolerant, and will grow under evergreen trees.
Bluebells are classics for dappled shade under deciduous trees; Winter Aconite and Snowdrop also do well, and Daffodils and Fritillaria meleagris will flower less but are still fine in partial shade.
Use our Native Woodland Bulb Mix to save money, or make your own mix from the species below.
