Pompon, or pompom dahlias have almost spherical flowers, little gems that are smaller and rounder than Ball dahlias.
On a Pompom, the petals curve inwards on miniature, complicated flowers which may be 5cm across, which is small for a dahlia. But they cut wonderfully, and fill in almost anywhere sunny.
