Ashridge Garden Centre? Ashbridge Nursery? Disambiguate me!

You are on the Ashridge website, legal name Ashridge Trees Ltd, based in Somerset, widely known for years as Ashridge Nurseries to distinguish us from the other Ashridges out there. 

We are an online tree, hedge & plant nursery, not a garden centre:

• Our nursery is closed to the public, except our front forecourt for collecting orders placed online. 
• We specialise in trees, fruit plants, all manner of hedging, and garden shrubs, mostly delivered bareroot in Winter, with a range of pot-grown stock for year round delivery. 
• We only grow a modest range of the most popular annual bedding plants and herbaceous perennials that you would expect to see in large numbers at a garden centre. 
• We don't sell most of the tools and garden accessories you find in garden centres, and no decorations.
  We specialise in what you need to plant trees and hedges, like stakes, guards, and mulch fabric.
• When you shop with us, you pay nothing until delivery, so you can book your plants months in advance and relax knowing it's sorted, without locking up your money

Their lovely plant shop has a select range of potted bulbs, perennials, with various edible herbs and fruit.

Every year, about three people contact us to claim their guarantee on plants they bought from another Ashridge, which we would love to honour, but can't for legal reasons: our lawyer wants that money for herself. 
 

Ashridge is not on Amazon

But you will find people there using our a variant of our official brand name, Ashridge Trees Ltd, such as "Ashridge Nurseries", which we don't have legal control over.

Ashbridge Independent School & Nursery in Hutton, Lancashire, grows high quality children. 

The kids raised by Ashridge are much less presentable, despite how much they cost. We should stick to selling trees and hedging online.
