Description
Alchemilla mollis - Lady's Mantle
Alchemilla mollis is an AGM winning herbaceous perennial grown mainly for its light green foliage which looks its best after rain or heavy dew. Perfect ground cover as it seeds freely and with charming bright yellow flowers in June and July. While the flowers are attractive the real glory of Alchemilla mollis is its foliage. Light, grey/green palmate and slightly hairy leaves form clumps 30-50 cms tall that glitter at any sign of water as they catch and hold droplets.
So if it rains - they look good, and if it is hot and there is a heavy dew... they look good.
