Description
Queen Elizabeth Floribunda Rose
The Queen Elizabeth rose demands attention from the back of the border. Very vigorous, with masses of pure pink, scented, bowl shaped flowers on long stems that are perfect for cutting. With its excellent disease resistance, this is an easy rose to grow where other varieties are unhappy. Pruned hard, it can be restricted to 4ft (120cms). Prune it more gently and you can build up a bush that can reach 7ft, which makes this about the only floribunda rose that you can plant in a mixed border behind shrubs. Well suited for ornamental hedge use.

Bred by Dr. Walter E. Lammerts in the early 1950's and brought to market by Germain's Seed & Plant Company. Among several other awards, it was voted The World's Favourite Rose for 1979 by the World Federation of Rose Societies, and gained All-America Rose Selection status in 1955.
