Spring Flowering Bulbs

Late Winter and early Spring flowering bulbs are reliable little wonders in the garden, hidden underground for most of the year, then among the first plants to bloom in spring.
They kick off the colour in your garden year after year, pretty much irrespective of the weather, and most of them naturalise well, gradually spreading and seeding themselves.
 

Alliums flower at the end of spring, on the fence with early summer, so aren't listed here.
